#Goestowhere?

Travel? Why not travel the world?

 How about knowing some of the major tourist cities in the world and get to know  them personally?

         New York is the most populous city in the United States and also the third most populous city in America, after São Paulo and Mexico City. The city has a significant impact on trade, finance, media, art, fashion, research, technology, education and entertainment from around the globe.

        Thus, New York receives about 40 million domestic and international tourists visiting the city each year. The main attractions include the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Broadway productions, museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, green spaces such as Central Park and Washington Square Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square and luxury shops along Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue.

        Other attractions are the events such as the Halloween Parade in Greenwich Village, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Day parade of St. Patrick, seasonal activities like ice skating in Central Park in winter, the Film Festival Tribeca and free performances in Central Park in the summer. Special experiences outside of the major tourist areas of the city include, but are not limited to, the Bronx Zoo, Coney Island and the Botanical Garden of New York.

        Not to mention that utensils in general that there are much cheaper than in Brazil, then to take advantage of looong!


       How about knowing some of the tourist sites of the wonderful city that is New York, and then to think about just pass by there on your next trip! See below:

1- EMPIRE STATE BUILDING:

The Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco style building located at the intersection of 5th Avenue and West 34th Street in New York City. Its name derives from the surname of the state of New York. It was considered one of the tallest structures in the world for over forty years, since its completion in 1931 until construction of the North Tower of the World Trade Center was completed in 1972. It has 365 thousand tons and 73 lifts. The lights change according to the day and holidays.

2: STATUE OF LIBERTY: The Statue of Liberty was a monument opened in October 28, 1886, built on Liberty Island at the entrance to New York Harbor. It celebrates the centenary of the signing of the Declaration of American Independence and is a gesture of friendship from France to the United States.
       
To visit the statue you need to buy travel tickets that include transportation via ferry boat to the island of freedom. Normally, the passes allow full access to the island where the statue, but the visitors are not allowed to enter the monument. Tickets that allow entry to the monument are provided by paying extra fees.

3- 5th  AVENUE OUR FIFTH AVENUE: The Fifth Avenue is an extremely busy Manhattan avenue, it goes from the North Street Square Washington Square Park / Waverly Place (6th Street) in Midtown to the 143rd Street / Harlen River Drive, Harlen and due to expensive private properties and mansions historical it has in its entire length, is a symbol of wealth in New York. It is one of the best streets for shopping in the world, and also one of the most expensive streets in the world. It is an avenue of only one direction and is also traffic target of Downtown Manhattan. It is sometimes referred to as the Fashion Ave, although the true Fashion Ave is the 7th Avenue.

4-  METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART: The Metropolitan Museum of Art, founded in February 20, 1872, is now one of the largest and most important museums in the world and houses an important collection of European painting from the twelfth-XX and works of ancient art (Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Assyrian-Babylonian) and eastern . Are also exposed in his paintings and sculptures rooms of American artists. Are very important sections dedicated to musical instruments, weapons and clothing.

5- CENTRAL PARK: The Central Park is a large park in the city of New York. It has an area of 3,410 km² and is located in the Manhattan district. It was inaugurated in 1857, with 843 km², and is considered by many New Yorkers, an oasis within the large existing skyscrapers forest in the region. It is a place where people can decrease the hectic pace of New York.

5- BROADWAY THEATER: The Broadway theater is the most prestigious form of professional theater in the United States, besides being the most familiar to the public and the most profitable for the actors, technicians and others involved in spectacles. It is considered that the Broadway theater, along with the theater's West End, London, represents the highest level of commercial theater in the English-speaking world.
