         What would you do if you found out the candy you love more than the "Doce de batata doce", is running out? Well, scientists say, in the future, the chocolate may end up! :(

... Chocolate lovers hardly stop to think that cocoa could be an exhaustible resource. Those who stop usually assume that the greatest threat is climate change, for which in fact are expected negative and severe consequences.

According to a report prepared by the International Center for Tropical Agriculture for the Bill Melinda Gates, Ghana and the Ivory Coast - which together produce 53 percent of the world's cocoa - the temperatures will rise to 2 degrees Celsius by 2050, increasing the dry season and causing water shortages.

The result, the report says, is that "the areas of cocoa cultivation decrease seriously."...
